A superb unmounted mint vertical pair. The lower stamp MISING GOLD (Queen's head and value). Reference to the upper stamp reveals that the missing gold is due to a 16mm upward shift of gold. The Queen's head having left the lower stamp appear at bottom of upper stamp. This gold shift affected one sheet of stamps and therefore likely no more than 12 examples such as this exist if all have survived. 3 of the examples exist in a left margin cylinder block of 30. A scarce opportunity.
