GBphilately and GB-PhilatelicGems are the websites owned and run by Ian Lasok-Smith (Philatelist). The first website was created in 1999. Through these websites I offer fine quality philatelic material exclusively related to Great Britain. My main area of expertise and special interest is that of Errors and Varieties related to the reign of Queen Elizabeth II. To this end many of the subsections within the site are dedicated to this area. However I hope to cater increasingly for the less specialist collector and for those whose interests lie in other reigns.
The emphasis throught all areas of the site is on quality and condition of material (a few notes to clarify issues regarding condition appear below). I offer a full refund should any item fail to meet your expectations and I also refund your return postage costs.

CURRENCY
I only accept payment in GBP (£). However for your ease and convenience the website is able to display prices in many different currencies. Go to "pick your currency" from menu at left. I have included a few of the more common ones. If your preferred currency is not listed please advise and I will endeavour to include. The checkout will display the final order total in GBP (£).
CONDITION.
All items described as unmounted mint can be assumed to be in Post Office fresh fault free condition unless stated otherwise. Scanned images can be subject to the effect of artefact. Any blemishes seen on images can be assumed to be artefact unless specifically mentioned. Please email to enquire if you have any concerns.
BOOKLET PANES.
All booklet panes will be in fine unmounted mint condition with full perforations on all perforated edges.
BOOKLETS.
All complete booklets will have clean covers and unless stated otherwise all panes contained will have full perforations on all perforated edges
CYLINDER BLOCKS.
All cylinder blocks will have imperforate margins angled (not cut back or cut square)
"BARGAIN" SECTIONS On occassions I may have quantities of items that do not fit neatly into my main dealing categories. These may be listed at very competitive "give away" prices. You may be reassured that the notes regarding condition above apply to these "bargain" items.
